This piece of JavaScript is the best I found so far when it comes to showing and hiding website elements. The author is Bobby Van Der Sluis, he writes articles for A List Apart en is teaming up with with Geoff Stearns to create SWFFix, an ultimate JavaScript library to embed Flash elements. Quite a reliable source I’d think.
